Response

Well said, Lakester!  Maybe such actions by the states will set this country back on center.  After all, the Roman government was heading in this same direction and look what happened to it.

An Arizona Land Grab?

In what some are calling a rogue action, Arizona is grabbing forest land from the Federal Government.  But who grabbed it first?  Constitutionally speaking, the Federal Government isn't supposed to own land.  In fact, that job rests squarely on the States.  What say you?

Money isn't the root of all evil...

Nope, money is just a symptom of a much more important sickness.  Improper thinking about money is only evidence that I'm not right with God.  What do you think?

Self Focus

Question: In what ways does self-focus harm my community, county, nation and world?

"It's more like falling in love..."

Yes, loving God is more like falling in love because all religion ever made of me was just "a sinner with a stone tied to my feet."  Jason Gray puts it so very well, don't you think?

My worth.

"My worth to God publicly is measured by what I really am in my private life."  Oswald Chambers

Grateful for spring.

How notably warm the spring air is right now.  Winter's snow has almost melted - but there are still small drifts on the north sides of large trees.  That snow doesn't stand a chance in this warmer air.  All God's critters are breathing a sigh of relief to know that more light is on its way!  New Mexico is a blessing.

What is it about the sunlight in New Mexico?

A question most asked by folks who come to New Mexico - "What makes New Mexico's sunlight so crisp?"  We're not too sure of the scientific answer to that question, but we do know that sunlight and weather like today's are what bring people to visit.  There is a special feeling here.  Trinidad Goodner's ranch is particularly replete with that silvery sheen that graces the mountains, terrain, rocks and trees in New Mexico's Pinon/Juniper foothills regions.  Drake Hash could even see it as he looked through the window and into the parking lot of Jo's Cup-A-Joe Cafe.  Whatever it touches, that special light enhances with a unique brilliance.
